About Me
Sajidur is currently pursuing his Ph.D. degree in transportation engineering at Florida International University (FIU). He is a dedicated and self-motivated individual with three years of experience in transportation and traffic engineering, planning, safety, and data analysis. He is proficient in verbal, written and interpersonal communication; technically efficient; able to think critically and willing to learn new concepts. Mathematics was his favorite subject from his childhood and currently likes to spend his time in research doing challenging projects that needs critical thinking. Some of his research interests are: Traffic Planning and Operation, Traffic Safety and Mobility Data Analytics, Transportation Systems Management and Operations, Driver Behavior Analysis, and Intelligent Transportation Systems

Sajidur is the president of current Florida International University Institute of Transportation Engineers student chapter. He is also affiliated in multiple professional organizations and activities where he is constantly gaining knowledge and developing his leadership skills. These organizations include the Institute of Transportation Engineers, FIU Women’s Transportation Seminar, Council of Student Organization. Besides working as a full-time transportation engineering researcher and taking part in technical meetings and conferences, he dedicates his time in volunteering and serving the community. Sajidur believes he is an admirer of creativity, hard work, and talent. Sajidur is also a bicyclist, a guitarist, a painter, and a traveler.
